School Description

Ventura Charter School of Arts and Global Education is a tuition-free public school serving over 440 students from Kindergarten through Eighth grade. VCS is an EL Education Network school ( and has a strong culture of adult learning and a commitment to being a professional learning community. The EL Education model supports leaders to demonstrate a growth mindset and a commitment to continuous professional learning in themselves and all faculty members with a strong focus on equity and social justice. School leaders build capacity in teachers in order to improve student achievement, and to sustain teacher commitment motivation, retention, and performance.

  • PE Specialist - 18.5 hours/week
  • Math Intervention Teacher- 16 hours/week
  • Music Teacher (or other Arts) - 10.5 hours/week
  • Art Teachers grades 5-8 (2 positions) - 10 hours/week
