Enrichment Trips

Our teachers research and provide enriching learning opportunities both within the classroom and out in the broader community. Our middle school students have traveled to Yosemite, Sacramento, and Ashland, Oregon to attend the Shakespeare Festival, and to go whitewater rafting on the Rogue River. From visiting harbor seal sanctuaries and butterfly preserves in Kindergarten to working with local marine biologists on Anacapa Island in the middle grades, our students have no boundaries to learning.
That which ought and can best be taught inside the classroom should there be taught, and that which can best be learned through experience dealing directly with native materials and real life situations outside the school should there be learned.
