Ventura Charter School is a unique, public charter school that provides more than just an excellent education for our students. VCS staff members, students, and families collaborate in the ongoing process of education. Our diverse and caring community integrates academics with creativity, thereby fostering independent thinkers, problem solvers, and leaders. We nurture the physical, emotional, intellectual, artistic, and social development of every child.
State funds only partially meet the financial needs of our school. Ventura Charter School has to raise additional funds to finance expenses not covered by state funding. Fieldtrips, specialized classroom supplies, extra curricular activities, and other operational costs that enhance the learning experience are financed through generous donations from our community. Annual Giving is Ventura Charter School’s growing community of donors who believe that whole-child education is vitally important to our future society. The Annual Giving Fund, the cornerstone of Ventura Charter School’s fundraising efforts, allows the community to invest in our students and provide new opportunities through our exceptional child-centered program.
Your monthly contribution will impact the educational experience of all VCS students, as well as the remarkable work of all VCS teachers. All gifts, large and small, fund innovative programs, urgent priorities, and unexpected opportunities that arise during the academic year.
